Previous to the creation of Adminty Virtual Admin Services, Melinda spent approximately ten years with Rhythmic Moves School of Dance & Performing Arts as the Office Manager / Assistant to the Principal.  Following this she worked at Coates & Kahler Chemists for four years as Office Manager (after previously working casually as a Pharmacy Assistant for 23 years).

At Rhythmic Moves, some of Melinda's duties / skills involved: maintenance and creation of attendance/payment rolls, reception, newsletter creation, design and distribution, website design and maintenance, graphic creation including animated banners, music sourcing and track editing, accounts - collecting tuition and other payments), costume measurement records, creation of signs, notices and forms, directing large volumes of traffic backstage at theatre production (100+ performers ranging from 2 years to adults), sourcing copyright information, writing or adapting scripts. Melinda also excelled at psychological hand holding and explaining the reams of information to overwhelmed dance parents.

At Coates & Kahler Chemists, Melinda reorganised and properly set up the administrative part of the business that had been running on an ad hoc basis in previous years. This involved a new filing system and a lot of archiving. She also spent hundreds of hours working on the Quality Assurance procedures manual which then was assessed by the Pharmacy Guild.

Melinda's main strengths are her computer and technical abilities, her typing speed and accuracy, her adaptability and her genuine desire to help others.
